What is the most selfish act?

Our life is filled with a variety of feelings such as joy, sorrows, cheers, feelings, love, and much more. Everyone is unique. The way you raised is different from your parents, neighbours, and friends. Everyone has the right to enjoy their life in own way. Many people think that praying god cures problems while some don't even believe the existence of god. The way you focus the things and handle an issue is quite different from your parents.

 Everyone is selfish in some way. Be it a job, internship, or marriage, people show off their selfishness.  I was raised from an Orthodox family where I grew up strictly. There was nothing to enjoy in my life. I used to cry a lot during my school days as there were no friends to share my feelings with. I was longing for pure love & affection. I had one cute sister who had the same feelings during her childhood.  Nevertheless, she was smart enough to face any challenges. However, she was unable to cope up with stress and depression.

She was betrayed by many friends and neighbours. She didn't share much but I saw her crying for many times. She came to me and said that she will end her life soon. As I was just a 12-year-old girl, I didn't aware of what she said. And, I thought it was literally a joke. Unfortunately, she decided to leave us & put an end to her life. When I was 15, she passed away and left my family depressed.  It was really shocking to me. If she had good friends, she would have lived for years.

She was purely an innocent fellow who didn't harm anybody but God took her so early. I cried a lot and thought that God has eyes but no sight. My family is not ready to accept this incident at any time. It was a great shock to everyone who knew my family. Death is not the key to any problems but I was not ready to accept her death. She was my only sister who showed me pure love & affection. I missed her love. I really want her back. I know that there was no one to help you when you were feeling down& depressed.

If she gets a new life, I want to be her elder sister. She might have died due to stress, loneliness, and depression, but its selfishness. Death is purely a selfish act. She didn’t think about her parents who gave her life. Yes, she didn't care about us but had left me depressed. There are a lot of helplines and non-profit organization out there. If you have suicidal thoughts and want to end your life, kindly contact them. Those who couldn't handle stress can contact them. Death may put an end to your painful life but it's not the solution. My sister's death is the most selfish and unbelievable act I have ever witnessed.
